Today, the role of a school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower
its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers and productive members of an ever changing global
society. The school is being run under the well established management of the Dronacharya Educational
Society which has earned its own niche in the field of education.
At Dronacharya Public School, Amlidih we are providing an atmosphere to our students for multifaceted
development, where children are encouraged to channelize their potential and energy in the pursuit of
excellence. This can be possible in a holistic, student-centric environment. The talents, skills and abilities
of each student needs to be identified, nurtured and encouraged so that each student is able to reach
out. Students need to be provided with a platform to think, express and exhibit their skills. It is equally
necessary to empower each student to negotiate the multiple challenges a student faces today with the
teacher being a facilitator.
We have established the school in a semi rural location because we believe that quality education
should not be confined to urban areas and cities only. The child of a rural and semi rural area has equal
right to quality education. It is our firm belief that each student harnessed in such an atmosphere, has
every hope and possibility of becoming a responsible, balanced and a mature adult and is able to
contribute and shoulder the responsibilities that society will eventually thrust on him.
At Dronacharya Public School, Amlidih our approach to learning is child centric encouraging activity
based learning and inculcating a scientific temper and a spirit of free enquiry. In our curriculum the
student is the primary focus and each child is involved in the learning process. We are constantly
improving our teaching methodology so that it turns learning into a combination of study, research and
discovery.
The parents are the most strengthening power in moulding the future of children. Their consistent
support empowers us to do more and more.
I am confident enough that the students of our school will make themselves stronger and stronger day
by day adding new feathers to the grandeur of the school.
